New Year No Power
So I was sitting at my kitchen table eating when all of sudden, the power goes out. In Canada this is usually the result of a storm or a car accident, but in China it means your prepaid card is out of credits.
I phoned my landlord but she didn’t seem too keen on coming over right away. I did think she was coming though. I sat in the dark and played my guitar. After I got tired of that I just lay on the couch and thought. After about a half hour of that I got up and left.
I went to the Sculpting in Time Cafe to eat and surf the net. I had some fairly big plans on what I wanted to accomplish today, things like looking for work…
Now I’m sitting on a hard wooden chair and I’m not in a good mood. Last time we ran out of power, Nan nan must have taken care of it. Before that I think I had no power for a day or so, I’m not looking forward to being in the dark for a few days.
