MBA Class of 2006

Two posts in two days, does this mark a return to blogging regularly? I doubt it. I basically don’t leave my mom’s house at Deep Bay except to visit one of my two sick grandmothers…

One thing I have been doing is surfing the web a lot. Besides looking for a job I was running through my collection of blog links and pruning it some. I ended up at Innovation Creators which will probably be added to my links page if I can ever get my internet connection working properly. Surprisingly updating my blog is one of the few things that works. FTP, POP3, even traceroute is not functioning as far as Muschamp.ca/Shaw/8-95.com is concerned.

Rod Boothby wrote a white paper on the MBA Class of 2006, hence the title of this posting. I just so happen to be a member of the greater MBA Class of 2006 which Rod is referring to. Although I wasn’t using the internet in high school, I think I have more than enough internet experience to be a member of my MBA class. Rod repeatedly mentions LinkedIn.com which I’ve both been using in my online job search and back when I had enthusiasm I was actively linking in to classmates and old associates. Although I was selective, I can’t help feeling now that my efforts were misplaced…

  • I tried.

    I tried to be honest.

    I tried to apologize.

I and others tried to improve things.

Aparently things will never be better and that will always make me sad. It will also always make me not feel a welcome part of the 2006 Sauder MBA class.
