November Keyword Referrals
As expected here is a sample of some of the odder keyword referrals I noticed for the month of November. As always this wasn’t remotely scientific. I’m not sure why I do this, I’m not sure why I do anything anymore. People have expectations…
One thing I’m learning is it doesn’t matter if you tell the truth or insist you are innocent. People won’t necessarily believe you, too many people aren’t interested in the truth. What people are interested in is pornography. My continual insistence that there is no porn on Muschamp.ca or material you would find in the adult section only seems to result in more people arriving at my website looking for it. I know this because I look at some of the keyword referrals and I also notice what web page they end up at. If these are real people and not automated bots scraping content they are either extremely hopeful or they don’t pay much attention to what Google actually returns for their query.

Either I’ve got to become more selective or people have to stop typing this stuff into search engines and ending up on my website. I have been more selective, maybe I’ll have to instigate a no anatomy rule, but it isn’t like I even bother to check all the referrals. There seems to be an increase in both odd referrals and general internet traffic and I don’t think these lists help matters. I also updated my unoffical top 10 oddest keyword referrals, though I’m sure others have their favourites.
