As a software developer throughout the dot.com boom and bust cycle I saw a lot of dubious ideas receive funding. So during my MBA I specialized in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation. Then I furthered my studies by undertaking the CFA® Program.
Although I still haven’t started my own company I’ve worked on numerous business plans helping classmates, entrepreneurs and non-profits. I wrote some simple advice for starting a new venture while at Building Opportunities with Business. I even created some Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to help with business planning.
