Canada

I have lived, worked, studied, and traveled throughout Canada. Though I was born in Vancouver, I grew up mostly on the Island. I first posted to the Internet while a student at the University of Victoria. This blog however, was created while I was a student at the University of British Columbia.

My career took me all over Canada. I did co-op work terms in Victoria, Yellowknife, Calgary, and Ottawa. Later, I spent my MBA internship in Prince George. I created this website while working in Vancouver and I’ve since documented both the 2010 Olympics and working in the DTES for a local non-profit.

So if you have questions about living, working, studying or traveling in Canada you should peruse this archive of blog posts below or you can send me a question using email or social media.

I haven’t been actively researching my family’s genealogy but did acquire a copy of the Book of MacKay by Angus MacKay and my grandfather’s war records. I haven’t had time to go through the former but I dutifully added the latter to my Reunion 9 database…

Muschamp Family Tree

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

I’ve spent much of the last 24 hours entering Muschamp ancestors into Reunion 9 from “Northumberland Families Volume One” augmented by other sources. My biggest contribution is filling out the Emerson Muschamp portion of the family tree found on page 49…
