So I just got off the phone with the TA from my Theory of Investment class. I still don’t know my grade but it is conceivable that it will be my worst one, ie less than 84%. In fact if I was a gambling man I’d take that bet. One of the Chinese people I went out of my way to help was her husband. He had a really important interview with the British Embassy concerning a job and a scholarship to study abroad in England. Editing Resumes

I’ve noted before how I have some modest ability at writing resumes and cover letters, which I credit to my days as a UVIC CSC co-op student. I may have also mentioned how I’ve volunteered to help fellow Sauder MBA classmates with their job search and job application process. Networking Online with LinkedIn

This morning I helped the husband of the TA for my Theory of Investment class prepare for his upcoming job interview with the British Embassy. When I was back at Sauder I went to a number of PDP events and was pleased to learn that I knew what was what when it comes to resumes, cover letters, and interviews.
