Despite the game being several years old, and despite taking several six month breaks from gaming to study for CFA® Exams, I continued to play Sid Meier’s Civilization V even after Beyond Earth came out in the hopes of reaching a milestone of sorts…

Last week the 2nd expansion to the video game, Sid Meier’s Civilization V was released. Against my better judgement I download it on day one. I’ve only managed to finish four games since then, but that still represents substantial time and effort…

The second expansion Brave New World came out and I downloaded on day one (July 8th 2013)…

Seeing as how I’m staying in for the evening I’m updating my blog, and probably will apply to yet more jobs, but I also will probably end up playing Civilization V.  I’ve stayed up too late, too often recently playing this game.  I’ve also been reading CivFanatics even after I go to bed on my iPhone. So here are some more thoughts on how to do better in the game if you want to be a peaceful builder..

This post was written before either expansion, I ended up playing this game for over 1000 hours so perhaps I have some useful though now dated insight…
