LinkedIn recently had it’s IPO and miraculously it kept going up even after the IPO price had been increased several times. This seemed to have surprised some onlookers and doomsayers talking of another ‘tech bubble’.  I don’t think that is likely to happen again as too many people learned too many lessons, however greed is greed…

Far too much work has gone into these classes. I’d much rather be working on a real project for a real organization, rather than forcing myself to write PHP.  I don’t even like PHP, I just knew it was available on most webhosts…

I’ve spent a lot of time working on my mashup codebase, more than I intended. I’m not a software developer anymore but I can fool people online if I can keep my distaste for PHP under control…

Now in 2019 a lot has changed, APIs that I used may no longer allow me to use them or at least they are not returning the data they used to return. I do not have the time and energy to fix this code, assuming it even can be fixed. Maybe I’ll get to it someday but right now you’re welcome to download it and look at pictures of how it used to work, but it is not running as well as it did eight years ago…
