Show me the money

Pictured below is 18000 RMB. This was the remains of the four months plus damage deposite that my landlord demanded upfront before I could rent my apartment. Needless to say I couldn’t take that much out of an ATM all at once. In fact Chinese ATMs seem to have a limit of 2000-2500 RMB per withdrawl. So even after calling Canada and getting my daily and weekly limit increased, it still took me almost a month to withdraw this much money. Each time I paid three Canadian dollars in withdrawal fees too.
When I get a roommate I should be getting almost half this money back. What is good for the gander is good for the goose.
