After finally getting my web mashup code into GitHub I spent a lot of time ensuring the code was easy to read and well commented. Now in 2019 a lot of methods no longer work because of changes to the APIs. I may be able to fix it, but I don’t have the time at the moment…

I’ve actually used a lot of code repositories, but a lot of the ones I used in the past have fallen out of favour. Kids these days don’t know how good they have it with their search engines, their online documentation, their help forums, social media, integrated development environments, and open source projects…

I’m not so sure there is a one to one relationship between quality and popularity which many people assume. Sometimes increased popularity is uncomfortable or problematic, whereas increased quality is almost entirely positive…

I’ve spent a lot of time fighting spam, first in my mailbox using programs/tools such as: MailSmith, SpamAssassin, SpamSieve, even SpamCop but also on this blog with a variety of WordPress plugins. I used to get 100s of spam emails a day at Muschamp.ca but after something my webhost presumably did I get noticeably less and very few make it to my inbox, one simply titled “Hello” recently did…
